In Hungary you have to indicate regardless of the conditions and you can fail the test instantly if you forget to indicate once. But people forget this as soon as they get their licence...
My car (see avatar) can reach full boost (0,8 bar) in second gear if I push it enough but my turbo spools a little faster than stock. Stock turbos in Starions reach full boost quite slowly(narrow and widebody) and XRT is partly based on widebody Starions. Widebody Starions protect the gearbox by not letting turbo pressure to build up fully before 4000 RPM.
Yeah, because from outside the instruments are not drawn just replaced with a solid color fill, but in this case I think these two rectangles should be black or replaced with a blank version of this panel.
I don't know if it looks like that on other computers as well but from outside views the RAC instruments which are behind the steering wheel are white. I guess because all the other ones have white backgrounds too.
Thanks for the patch Scawen, everything works as it should. The new screen controls are very good.
I noticed that RAC has a working odometer and the oil pressure gauge works on all cars which have one. I couldn't find these changes in the list.
You can find all the details about LFS cars in Bob Smiths' VHPA program or you can extract them by yourself from the bin files LFS can create. FZ5's rear tyres are 295/30R18, front tyres are 235/40R18.
I just don't get why you want a 4g63 engine sound for RB4 and FXO when the XRT and XRG is based on the Mitsubishi Starion which (the earlier narrowbody versions, like mine) has 4g63 engine
I rarely notice the noise my DFP is making when I'm in a race and it is quite noisy. My mates sometimes complain about it when I'm speaking with them on Ventrilo during a race. I think it's a good move from Logitech to make the G27 less noisy but the absence of sequential shifter means I probably won't buy the wheel.
If you unlock LFS you only have to click once on the credits screen to exit, there aren't any advertising screens like in demo mode. Alternatively you can just use ALT-F4 which instantly shuts down LFS.

I got 18 FPS when looking at a full grid with standard shadows and I got 16-17 FPS with test shadows. If I turn off AA the FPS difference is roughly the same.
The shot shows my test scenario. KY GP Long, 20 XRT AIs.
Some newer low res pics of my Starion. The last one is edited a little, I think my neighbours would kill me if I've done that IRL. I really need a better licence plate holder for the front bumper. The work on the car goes slowly, I don't really have time for it.
Edit: I forgot to add that I blame LFS for my Starion addiction so the devs should pay me or else...
I don't know the exact age requirements, but in Hungary if you are not at least 18 years old you have to have your parents approval to start learning theory.
When you finished the theory course there is a test which has questions about traffic rules, signs and some basic questions about car maintanence.
If you successfully take the theory test you can go on to the first part of car driving.
This is 10 hours of basic car control and U-turn, parallel parking, slalom etc. in a closed test track.
After this 10 hours there is another test which consists of two parts.
Before you can get in the car you have to check the wheels, brakes, steering and lights and you may have to check fluid levels too and answer some questions about cars. Then you can get in the car and show that you can drive it and you are capable of doing the above mentioned tasks like paralell parking and so on.
When you passed this exam too you can start the last stage of the learning, 20 hours driving in the city with the driving instructor.
The test starts with the usual car checking then you head to the city.
You drive for 35-40 minutes then return to the starting point.
A medical aid exam is needed too, you can do it anytime you want but you need it to get your driving license.
You can only learn driving in traffic with an instructor in his car or you will be banned for a year if a cop catches you.
Mitsubishi Starion, manufactured in 1985, it's as old as me Around 180 Hp, RWD. It needs parking brake cable, new rear tyres, spare wheel and later a new paint job. Bought it quite cheap, it will cost me some time and money to fix every little thing but I like to fiddle with cars. I'll post more pictures after I wash the car.
I hope you realise that most probably Scawen doesn't do the 3D modelling and texturing for this car so it's not really affecting the programming side of LFS and you don't know what other things Eric is working on.
For some people chase view might be faster and obviously it has advantages but it's certainly not realistic. I tried chase view for fun a few times but I simply can't drive in that view. I could learn it if I wanted to but for me LFS is not only a game, it's a (car) racing simulator and I can't use chase view IRL (nor I would want to) so I try to setup LFS to be as close to real life as I can.
